Congressman Crenshaw’s Office is excited to host this year’s Congressional App Challenge for TX-02. Every year we challenge students in our district to create and submit their original apps for a chance to win the Congressional App Challenge (CAC). Each challenge is district-specific. The Congressional App Challenge’s Mission is to inspire, include, and innovate efforts around STEM, coding, and computer science education. As U.S. Representatives we publicly recognize our winning teams and each winning app may be put on display in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year.
Students may use any programming language (example: C, C++, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, “block code,” etc.) and any platform (PC, web, tablet, robot, mobile, etc.). This year our theme is “service.” Please create an app that showcases your interpretation of this theme in some way.
